Jalaluddin Rumi-The Sufi Poet
Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi Hasin ibn Muhammad al-Bakri al Khattabi (Jalaluddin Rumi) or sometimes called by the name of a Sufi poet Rumi, who was born in Balkh (now Afghanistan) on the 6th of Rabiul Awwal 604 Hijri, or the date of 30 September 1207 AD. His father was Abu Bakr descent, named Bahauddin Walad. Was his mother came from the royal family Khwarazm. Rumi's father a devout scholars, mystics are forward-looking, a famous teacher in Balkh. Work
Rumi's famous collection of poems called al-Mathnawi al-meaningful supposedly was a revolution against the loss of zeal Kalam Science and strength. Its contents also criticized the pace and direction that tends to exceed the limits of philosophy, castrated cult feelings and ratios.
Admittedly, that Rumi's poetry has its own characteristics compared to those of other Sufi poets. Through his poetry Rumi said that the understanding of the world may be obtained only through love, rather than solely through physical labor. In his poetry Rumi also said that God, as the only purpose, has no equal.
Another distinguishing characteristic of poetry Sufi poet Rumi with the work of others is often he began his poem by using stories. But this is not meant he wanted to write a narrative poem. These stories are used as a statement of thoughts and ideas.
Many found the stories in a Rumi poem that seem different but in fact has a symbolic meaning of equality. Some of the historical figure that she carries is not in the historical purpose, but it displays them as symbolic images. Figures such as Joseph, Moses, Jacob, Jesus and others show it as a symbol of the beauty of the soul that reaches ma'rifat. And it is well-known figures such as a person covered by divine love.

Biography of Muhammad Iqbal
Muhammad Iqbal is known as a great thinker and poet and freedom fighter Muhammad Ali Jinnah Pakistan together. He was the pioneer establishment of State for Indian Muslims to Pakistan finally materialized in the country 10 years after his death. He also left great works such as Javid Namah (Book of Immortality), a famous literary books.
Iqbal was born in Sialkot Punjab India 9 November 1877 and died in Lahore Pakistan 21 April 1938. Come from middle class families who provided many Islamic values are strong. Writing talent developed rapidly under the guidance of Hasan Maulwi MIRR. Graduated from Scotch Mission College in Sialkot, Iqbal moved to Government College Lahore go to get a teacher in Lahore and Sir Thomas Arnold (an expert on Islam and modern philosophy) and graduated with cum laude. After obtaining a master's degree in philosophy, he became corrector of Arabic at the University Oriental College Lahore and also teaches at the University. He then continued his studies in 1905 at Lincoln's Inn in London to become a lawyer. After that he returned to study at Cambridge University Department of Philosophy while preparing doctoral dissertation for the University of Munich Germany. Dissertation entitled "The Development of Metaphysics in Persia" was successfully completed, so he earned his Doctor of Philosophy in 1907.Sekembalinya of Europe, he re-joined the Government College Lahore as a Professor of Philosophy and English Literature.
Iqbal fame also penetrated the world of politics. In 1908 he entered the British Committee of se-India Muslim League. He was also elected to the Punjab Legislative Assembly and became one of the political thinkers. Presidential address India Muslim League in 1930 became the conceptual basis for the State of Pakistan, although he did not explicitly mention the name of Pakistan. As a thinker, he is very concerned about the Muslim dengankeadaan India so he proposed the concept of the establishment of the State for non-Muslims.
Literary works that made him very famous poems written in Persian and Urdhu include "Asrar-i Khudi) The secret of self), Payam-I Masyriq (Message from the East), Navid Namah (Book of Immortality). Iqbal suffered a prolonged illness between the years 1934-1938 and dated 21 April 1938 he died and was buried at Badshahi Mosque Lahore.
