Leonard Bernstein was a composer, conductor, pianist from the United States. Variety of his work, especially with the New York Philharmonic, has been produced worldwide.  In 1953, Bernstein with Maria Callas became the first American to lead the opera at the Teatro alla Scala, Milan, entitled "Medea", by Cherubini.Salah one their work is Mahler's famous Symphony orchestra performed together with the dipimpimnya, New York Philharmonic.Dalam the theater, especially Broadway, Bernstein also produced several famous works like West Side Story and Candide.


Bernstein was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on 25 August 1918. Since childhood, she has been taking piano pelajan up and go to the Garrison and Boston Latin School (Garrison and Boston Latin Schools). In 1940, Bernstein joined the symphony orchestras of Boston (Boston Symphony Orchestra) led by Serge Koussevitzky.Pada 14 October 1990, Bernstein died after receiving various awards during his lifetime.
