Business
As a student in the Ph.D. program computer science at Stanford University, Page met Sergey Brin. At first they do not get along. This is due to their incompatibility to each topic. However, in the end they have the same interests, namely the search engines (search engines). Together they run the search engine Google, which began operating in 1998. Google PageRank is based on a patented technology, which is based on the structure of the link - a link between a web site to rank a particular website. Page still remains on leave from the Ph.D. program
When at university, he made the inkjet printing of the pieces Lego blocks.
Page ran Google as president with Brin until 2001, when they hired Eric Schmidt to become chairman and CEO of Google. Page now runs Google as a triumvirate along with Brin and Schmidt.
According to Forbes, Page had a net worth estimated at U.S. $ 12.8 billion, making him the richest man in the world number 27 (one place behind the other founders of Google, Sergey Brin). On September 2005 he and the other Google founder, Sergey Brin, buy a very large passenger aircraft, a Boeing 767, for their personal use.
