Roy Keane Life Story





Roy Maurice Keane (born August 10, 1971 in Mayfield, Cork, Ireland) is a former professional footballer and currently the manager of English Premier League, Sunderland.
A dominant central-midfielder, Keane was mentioned as one of the best players in his era. With 17 years of career success, playing for Cobh Ramblers in Ireland, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United, before ending his career as a football player at Celtic FC Scotland team.


Keane has an aggressive style of play and competitive, so he believed to be the captain of United in the period 1997-2005. Keane helped United in getting a great achievement, including when United won the treble in 1999. So he called one of the most influential players in the history of Manchester United.


He also played at international level, defending National Football Team of the Republic of Ireland for 14 years, he played mostly as a captain. At the 1994 FIFA World Cup he played throughout the game, but the 2002 FIFA World Cup, he was sent home after besitegang with coach Mick McCarthy.


His first season as Sunderland manager, he brought his team from the league to the top of the order of 23 when competition Coca-Cola. He also took Sunderland promotion to the Premiership on 29 April 2007 and a week later, a first division league champions. The arrival of Keane plays a major role in the recovery of strength Sunderland who had previously played in the Premiership but degraded.
