Burberry 'Midnight Brown' Eyeshadow - Review, Swatches

After my first forays into the world of Burberry cosmetics, here's a more detailed look at Burberry's Sheer Eye Shadow in Midnight Brown (no.21). This was launched as part of the Burberry Beauty Autumn/Winter 2011 collection and it is a permanent addition to the line. It is a gorgeous, multidimensional, complex shade. A medium brown with multi-colored micro shimmer and various undertones, depending on the lighting. The shimmer is more visible in the pan and very subtle once the eyeshadow is applied. I can detect taupe, gold, silver and green undertones, even a 'barely there' touch of red, it is amazing. It is very pigmented, a little goes a long way with this eyeshadow.

Guerlain 'Terra Azzurra' Collection Summer 2012 by Emilio Pucci

Guerlain have teamed up with Pucci once again and here's the end result: Terra Azzurra collection for summer 2012, to be available in select locations in May.

Created by Guerlain Creative Director, Olivier Echaudemaison, and Pucci’s Image Director, Laudomia Pucci, the collection embraces summer with delightfully sunny shades and vibrant bursts of color. The common thread of this second collaboration is a motif inspired by an iconic print, “Winter Capri”, taken from the Emilio Pucci archives. Exclusively retouched for this collection, this signature print, a blue flower interlaced with swirls and flames, adds a joyful and elegant Pucci touch to the Guerlain summer products."
