Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Biography





Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was born in 1970, he was a politician as well as Millionaires of the United Arab Emirates and Abu Dhabi ruling family member (UAE). He is the half brother of President United Arab Emirates today (Abu Dhabi) Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Outside of the United Arab Emirates, he is best known as owner of a British club Manchester City. Born in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), he was the fifth son of the Emir of Abu Dhabi Zayed II and his wife Fatima, Mansour bin Zaid Al Nahyan left school in his homeland and went to the United States to continue their education. In 1993, he received a bachelor's degree in political science.


He was appointed as Chairman of the Council of Ministers for Services, which is considered as an entity attached to the Cabinet of Ministers, which consists of a number of ministers who led the Service Department. Since 2000, he led the National Center for Documentation and Research. In 2005, he became vice chairman of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), chairman of the Foundation of Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Food Authority and the Abu Dhabi Development Funds since 2005. In 2006, he was appointed as chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Justice.


In 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Charitable Foundation. Sheikh Mansour has served as Chairman of First Gulf Bank, and as a member of the Supervisory Board of Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation. Sheikh Mansour has established a scholarship program for UAE students to study abroad. He is also chairman of the Arab Horse Racing Authority Arab emirates (EHRA), emphasizing his love for the sport.


Al-Nahyan family of Abu Dhabi's lead since the 1960s. Sheikh Mansour is married to Sheikha Manal bin Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the daughter of none other than Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum. Sheikh Mansour, who is also member of the family of Al-Nahyan, Abu Dhabi city businessman, believed to have a fortune worth 20 billion pounds (about USD
