Anies Baswedan is a young Indonesian intellectuals whose names are global and global perspective. He is listed as the recipient of awards from Foreign Policy magazine as one of the 100 Public Intellectuals The world's most influential in April 2008 along with Noam Chomsky, Al Gore, Francis Fukuyama, Samuel Huntington, Vaclav Havel, Thomas Friedman, Bernard Lewis, Lee KuanYew and Nobel laureate from Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus.
Anies Baswedan born in Brass, West Java, May 7, 1969 came from a family that holds the intellectual determination to contribute to nation building through education, among others by delivering Paramadina become world-class universities. Anies Both parents are professors, Rashid Baswedan, Anies father, had been Vice Rector of Islamic University of Indonesia, while Aliyah Rashid, mother anies, is a professor at State University of Yogyakarta.
