Walther Rathenau, The Famous Politician of The German
Walther Rathenau (29 September 1867-24 June 1922) is a German politician. Jewish descent, his father was the founder Emil Rathenau Allgemeine Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG), which died in 1915 after the presidency passed to his son. During World War I he became director of the suppliers of raw discussion. Democratic Party leaders, a key figure in the advocacy for the assimilation of German Jews; rejected the idea of socialism, refused to state ownership, and encourage private ownership. He held several positions such as minister of reconstruction and the Foreign Minister.
Her suggestion that Germany must fulfill all obligations under the Treaty of Versailles, while working to revise its terms, infuriated German nationalists. Led the negotiations with Russia in the Rapallo Treaty, which established diplomatic relations between the two countries back, and collaborate on the basis of mutual benefit. As a result of the steps, he was assassinated by ultranationalists in June 1922. Historian Hans Eyck Rathenau argued that the murder may be a single event that brought Germany into a state of hyperinflation between the years 1922-1923.
