Eleanor Roosevelt - First Lady of the United States, speaker, politician, and activist

http://the-american-history.blogspot.com/
Eleanor Roosevelt was the First Lady of the United States in the period of 1933 to 1945. She sustains the New Deal policies of her husband, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and become an advocate for civil rights. After her husband's death in 1945, Roosevelt continued to be an international author, speaker, politician, and activist for the New Deal coalition. She worked to enhance the status of working women, although she opposed the Equal Rights Amendment because she believed it would adversely affect women. In the 1940s, Roosevelt was one of the co-founders of Freedom House and supported the formation of the United Nations.

She was a delegate to the UN General Assembly from 1945 and 1952, a job for which she was appointed by President Harry S. Truman and confirmed by the United States Senate. During her time at the United Nations she chaired the committee that drafted and approved the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. President Truman called her the "First Lady of the World" in tribute to her human rights achievements. Active in politics for the rest of her life, Roosevelt chaired the John F. Kennedy administration's ground-breaking committee which helped start second-wave feminism, the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women. In 1999, she was ranked in the top ten of Gallup's List of Most Widely Admired People of the 20th Century.

Following week along with WWE

Hello, people.
It's time to continue writing so I want begin with theme of 2011 WWE Draft.

These are up there main superstars who selected in main draft which took place on Monday Night Raw on April 25, 2011.

So, get supplemental draft results shown here:

After supplemental draft I wish Smackdown will be more interesting show.
With these Superstars and Divas? Sure.

On Extreme Rules, Layla will face Michelle McCool in No DQ, No CO match. Loser must leave Smackdown.
I type that match will finish with a draw right to rules.

Mark Henry's heel turn

Matches on following Smackdown:

-  Jack Swagger vs. Sin Cara

- Kane & Big Show (c) vs. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel (Tag Titles Match -> I am surprised if last two will not brawl among themselves)
- Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry
- Layla vs. Michelle McCool
- Christian & Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio & Brodus Clay

Going interesting? Of course.

Only six matches are in plan to Extreme Rules but I have to launch WWE.COM to see what's more.

Follow me, follow WWE.com.

In my opinion, Christian will receive World Heavyweight Championship right to draft results. Del Rio is Raw superstar now.
Morrison, Miz & Cena who will fight for WWE Championship are from Raw too.
Rule is that one world championship is on Raw, second one on Smackdown.

Will Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler win their Country Whipping Match on Extreme Rules?
How about Layla & McCool feud?
Who will be world champion?
What will happen on WM rematches?

These and others coming soon.

Raw/Smackdown/Retrospection with WCW

Hello. I drive fast so let's start.

On last Monday Night Raw happened what I wrote with Wrestlemania Rematch:

Randy Orton defeated CM Punk and he has been beat up by New Nexus.

On Friday Night Smackdown:

- Kane and Big Show won Tag Team Titles
- Wade Barrett retained Intercontinental Title although being accidentally clotheslined by Ezekiel Jackson.
- Slater and Gabriel split.
- Lay-Cool split (official!!)

We know that Orton & Punk and Rey & Cody will have their rematches on Extreme Rules next week on Sunday only on pay-per-view.

Few days ago I began watching WCW Monday Nitro and PPVs following since 1996 and formation of New World Order:

Gonna print nWo logo on my t-shirt :)

So, I started with appearance of Scott Hall on Nitro -> 27 May, 1996.
Later famous interview with Hall and Nash on Great American Bash.
Eric Bischoff surprised.

Bash at the Beach 1996
- Hulkster betrayes WCW :/

Later editions of Monday Nitro, Hog Wild PPV (Hulkster won WCW/NWO Championship from The Giant, later member of nWo), later editions of Nitro... longer and longer.

Now in watching me at the moment when Syxx joined.

Fall Brawl 1996 and War Games : NWO VS WCW

WCW had no chance to win! Real Sting felt betrayed by colleagues and friend/ally Lex Luger.

Retrospection continues...
